Tolerance Strikes Back
Geert Wilders' Ideology – 2010, a gift for Holland
Currently shown at Gallery Ijburglaan 684, Amsterdam

We, Pinar Demirdag & Viola Renate, draw inspiration from
reacting to the prevalent social values of the day.
The video, Geert Wilders’ New Ideology – 2010, is currently
exhibited at the Gallery Ijburglaan 684, Amsterdam. The
installation recalls a stage where an essential speech is giving.
Being graphic designers, currently working and living in the
Netherlands, we came to a point where it was time to react
on the populist politics using our own tools.
We are making a statement on Wilders’ politics by narrowing
the gap between ‘us’ and ‘them’.
Without demonizing him, we use Wilders as a stooge in order
to tell a constructive message with a larger importance.
