Collaboration with Viola Renate.
On the opening of the Utopian Grids exhibition (Trouw Exhibition Hall. September, 26 2009), while the guests and the contributors were sipping their champagne, two anonymous street sellers came in. While the guests were curiously staring at the two street sellers, they were placing their goods on a cloth in the middle of the exhibition space. Their unexpected presence in the exhibition space caused confusion, and even some tension. How is it possible that so suddenly these two unknown men (uninvited and unannounced) are participating in the Utopian Grids exhibition?
Visitors and participants where even more surprised when it became clear that those two traders where selling T-shirts manifesting Utopian Chaos. The mysterious street sellers claimed that their T-shirts were coming from the future, as a souvenir from a world to come.
